R804.3.4

Section R804.3.4 is titled 'Headers' and covers requirements for roof-ceiling construction. The requirement for cold-formed steel roof-ceiling framing above wall openings to be supported on headers, and for header spans not to exceed values in another section and tables in this code is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent structural failure.
