R802.4.5

Section R802.4.5 is titled 'Purlins' and covers requirements for roof-ceiling construction. The allowance for purlins installed in accordance with a figure in this code, and the requirement for purlins to be a minimum size, unspliced, and supported by braces of a minimum size, spacing, slope, and length is established.
