Section R703.7.5 is titled 'Curing' and covers requirements for wall coverings. The requirement for a minimum amount of time between the application of coats of plaster, dependent on the type of system is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent detachment from the structure.

The model shows a 3-coat plaster system with the 2nd coat being added after a 2-day period, and the finish coat being added after a 7-day period.
