R702.3.4

Section R702.3.4 is titled 'Insulating concrete form walls' and covers requirements for wall coverings. The requirement for insulated concrete forms exposed on the interior of the structure to be protected in accordance with another section of this code, and the allowance for compatible adhesives to be used is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent detachment from the structure as well as to slow the spread of fire.
