R609.8.2

Section 609.8.2 is titled 'Deflection' and covers requirements for exterior windows and doors. A maximum deflection for mullions resisting the design pressure loads applied by the window or door assembly is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent detachment of window and door assemblies from the building.
