Section 609.5 is titled 'Other exterior window and door assemblies' and covers requirements for exterior windows and doors. The requirement to test windows and doors not covered by sections of this code to a standard, and for glazing in these assemblies to comply with another section of this code is established. The purpose of this section is to mandate that windows and doors, not covered by sections of this code, conform to a standard.
