Section R608.9.1 is titled 'Connections between concrete wall and light-framed floor, ceiling and roof systems' and covers requirements for wall construction. The requirement for connections between exterior concrete walls and light-framed construction elements in accordance with figures and sections in this code is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent structural failure.
