R608.6.1

Section R608.6.1 is titled 'General' and covers requirements for wall construction. The requirement for exterior concrete walls to be a minimum thickness and contain reinforcement in accordance with applicable tables in this code, to be built in accordance with another standard where they exceed the limitations prescribed in another section of this code, or to otherwise conform to this section, and other figures and sections in this code is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent structural failure.
