R608.1.1

Section R608.1.1 is titled 'Interior construction' and covers requirements for wall construction. The requirement for the design and construction of exterior concrete walls in accordance with this main section to have interior walls, floors, and roof/ceiling assemblies built of light-frame construction within the limitations of this code, and for aspects of concrete construction not specifically covered by this code, to comply with another standard is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent structural failure.
