Section R608.1 is titled 'General' and covers requirements for exterior concrete walls. The requirement to follow this section or 2 other cross-referenced standards, and clarification that drawings are not required to be done by a design professional, where the use of this section or the other 2 standards is used for the design and construction of exterior concrete walls, unless otherwise required by state law is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent structural failure.
