Section R606.2.6 is titled 'Adhered manufactured stone masonry veneer units' and covers the requirements for the manufacturing of adhered manufactured stone masonry veneer units. A cross-reference to a standard which regulates the manufacturing of adhered manufactured stone masonry veneer units is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent units from coming loose from the structure and premature degradation to assure they maintain a weather-resistant exterior wall covering.
