R603.9.5.2

Section R603.9.5.2 is titled 'Seismic design categories D₀, D₁ and D₂' and covers requirements for wall construction. In certain seismic design categories, the requirement to determine the length of sheathing and overturning anchorage for cold-formed steel framing in accordance with tables in this code, and for overturning anchorage to be installed in specific locations is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent structural failure.
