Section R602.10.4.2 is titled 'Continuous sheathing methods' and covers requirements for wall construction. The requirement for continuous braced wall sheathing methods to cover the entire braced wall line, including above and below openings, and for the bracing to comply with another section of this code is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent structural failure.
