R505.2.6.1

Section R505.2.6.1 is titled 'Web holes' and covers requirements for floor construction. The allowance for holes within the webbing of cold-formed steel floor framing members, the allowed hole location, size, and spacing, (which is illustrated in a cross-referenced figure), as well as cross-references to sections in this code which provide remedies for holes which are not in conformance with this section is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent structural failure.
