R502.8.2

Section R502.8.2 is titled 'Engineered wood products' and covers requirements for floor construction. The disallowance of cutting, notching, and/or drilling engineered wood products, except where allowed by the manufacturer, or designed by a registered design professional is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent structural failure.
