R404.1.3.1

Section R404.1.3.1 is titled 'Concrete cross section' and covers the requirements for the shape of concrete foundation walls. The required shapes that concrete foundation walls must be to use the provisions of this code to design and construct such walls, and the standard that shall be used to design and construct concrete foundation walls where they do not conform to the shapes allowed by this code is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent structural failure.
