R324.4.2

Section R324.4.2 is titled 'Fire classification' and covers requirements for solar energy systems. The requirement for rooftop-mounted photovoltaic panel systems to have the same fire classification as required in another section of this code which covers fire classification of roof assemblies is established. The purpose of this section is to slow the spread of fire.
