R322.1.9

Section R322.1.9 is titled 'Manufactured homes' and covers requirements for flood-resistant construction. The requirement for a specific element of manufactured homes to be installed at or above a certain elevation per one of two sections of this code, anchor and tie-down requirements, and a cross-reference to another standard which manufactured homes must comply where constructed within a floodway is established. The purpose of this section is to limit damage and loss to buildings and structures due to flooding, which are constructed in areas prone to such.
